Chiropractic is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and is the third most used emergency care profession in the world after medicine and dentistry, so you can come for treatment without a referral. The training of chiropractors is the most uniform internationally and they graduate with a master’s degree from a foreign university. This five-year full-time study cannot be completed in Finland.

Typical problems at a chiropractor's office include back and pelvic pain conditions as well as neck-shoulder problems, headaches and dizziness. Disc injuries effecting the nerves causing sciatic pain or other radicular symptoms such as numbness and tingling. Other common symptoms include pain, muscle tension, and decreased ability to function on daily activities or sports performance.

 

Chiropractic includes a number of treatment techniques that focus on improving functional capacity and health, mainly in physical treatments as well as exercises and lifestyle advice.
